20 Ukrainian participants of the project are participating on the internship stay in Slovakia – employees of public administration and employees of the RDA Transcarpathian area in institutions of the entitled area.
It will be focused on European development policies, regional development strategies, financial development tools, including funds accessible to requestors from Ukraine, harmonization of Ukrainian legislation and standards with the Slovak ones. It will also encompass the creation of conditions for the development of regions and their implementation at the example of Regional Development Agencies and examples of good practice in implemented projects. Additional areas are the SR state policy – e.g. employment, trade, introduction of strategies of the Prešov and Košice regions and industrial parks in the border region.
The internship stay will be implemented by the UCM in Trnava in cooperation with the RDA Svidník. The introduction of Slovak and European Strategic approaches and implementation examples will create an efficient and inspiring space for the Ukrainian participants of the stay, which will be the basis for sustainability of the results of the project and it will be used in its further continuation.
